Has received many awards for his teaching prowess; Best Academician Award 2017, CSI Chennai Chapter, Education Excellence Award 2024 – Coer University are some of them.
With extensive experience in teaching spanning more than 3 decades, in fields of cardiology and interventional cardiology, introduced novel ways of teaching including “transformational learning by cases” modules.
Introduced “Back to Basics Fellow Course” and “Cath Lab Complications” session in NIC Meetings 2012 for first time in India for beginners (students) in interventional cardiology. This same model was then copied by other interventional meeting like India Live, TCT India etc.
Wrote a cardiology best-seller “Cath Lab Practicals” published by Jaypee brothers & available @ Amazon for beginners in interventional cardiology.

Started NIMS CATH Lab Mentorship Program for cardiology students in various medical colleges in Jaipur area.
Worked tirelessly to introduce NEP 2020 at NIMS University; introduced elective subjects for all streams, implemented choice based credit system (CBCS), National Credit Framework (NCRF) & Outcome Based Education (OBE)
